Please join us February 4th at the Overbrook Country Club for our first annual Queen of Hearts Event to help raise Down Syndrome awareness. Michael Barkann and Dawn Timmeney have graciously lent their support as Emcee and Honorary Hostess. This community inspired event is a Black Tie Optional evening featuring two Casino areas, two Texas Hold'em buy in tournaments, silent auctions and live auctions including a three bedroom condo in Downtown Aspen. We will also feature an open bar, a cigar and brandy outdoor Speak Easy, appetizers and desserts, valet parking, and a champagne welcome.

We are also excited about the DelcoDSIG commissioned pendant. This one of a kind 14k white gold pendant, set with diamond, ruby and sapphire stones with a 14k white gold chain is valued at $1,600.00. And as the event will promote Down Syndrome awareness, we have chosen this event to honor someone who has unselfishly lent so much of her time and talents to the Group to help ensure the success of our mission. Patty White and her husband will be our Guests of Honor at this event. Anyone who has been a part of our group will know Patty White and all the work and dedication she has provided to our Group over the years. Patty not only organizes our Walk for Our Kids fund raising event but has also undertaken the responsibility of running our Lose the Training Wheels Bike Camp. The fact that this single event was so successful in its inaugural year was due in no small part to Patty's inspired leadership. It is fitting then that as the community gathers to honor Down Syndrome awareness that we also honor someone who has worked hard for so many years to help champion the cause.
